The
Manitoba Soccer Association is delighted to announce that Alison
Clarke, Desiree Scott and Caley Miskimmin have been called to
participate in National Team programs.
Clarke has been selected to the U17 National
Team that will participate in the World Cup Qualification competition
for the CONCACAF region that will be held in Costa Rica from March
9-20. Meanwhile, Desiree Scott and Caley Miskimmin have been called
by the Women’s National Team camp as the team prepares for
the Cyprus Women’s Cup from February 24th to March 3rd,
2010.
Sport
Manitoba has instituted a new program called Respect in Sport.
This program is compulsory. All coaches will have to complete
the online course in order to continue coaching in the WWSL.
The course is three hours in length, divided into six one-half
hour modules. It can be completed at the coach’s leisure,
in it's entirety or in segments at their own pace. The course
is available in both English and French and is free of charge
