Respect in Sport Certification

Mandatory for all Registered Coaches

Sport Manitoba has instituted a new program called Respect in Sport. This program is compulsory for all coaches in all sports in the province of Manitoba. By December of 2007 all coaches will have to complete the online course in order to continue coaching. After this date coaches will not be allowed behind the bench until the course has been completed.

The course is three hours in length, divided into six one-half hour modules. It can be completed at the coach’s leisure, in its entirety or in segments at their own pace. The course is available in both English and French and is fee of charge to all coaches.
