Tournaments9th Annual Central Plains Challenge CupPortage La Prairie, ManitobaJune 5 & 6, 20102010 Tournament Info: Entry Fee: $375 Registration: Teams must contact the tournament convenor to be invited to the tournament. Teams who have entered in previous years will be given the first opportunity to enter, and will have until March 8 to confirm their intent to enter. If any spots remain open after March 8, invited teams may submit their entries on a first come first served basis from March 8 - May 15, 2010. Format: 16 Team Round Robin tournament, 4 pools of 4 Teams with the top two Teams in each pool qualifying for the playoffs. Each pool with consist of 2 rural teams and 2 Winnipeg teams. The 8 teams qualifying for the playoffs will then be seeded 1-8. Seeds 1-4 will compete in the A Side playoffs, while seeds 5-8 will compete in the B Side playoffs. Guaranteed 3 games, all games consist of two thirty minute halves. The top 8 teams will receive cash prizes. Entry fee includes shootout contest, prizes and Team coupons. PRIZES: A Side B Side Only teams who receive an invite to the tournament are eligible to enter. In order to enter the tournament, mail the registration form to the tournament coordinator, complete with a cheque or money order for $375 to reserve your spot. Registration forms and entry fees must be received by May 15, 2010. Please make cheques payable to “PORTAGE BLAZE SOCCER CLUB”.
