New Teams

New Teams, we want to Welcome you to the WWSL!

About the WWSL: We are a sanctioned league under Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) and the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA). What does that mean?

  • Access to Certified Referees
  • Player/Coach Insurance
  • Access to quality facilities
  • Team Vote at our AGM!

As a sanctioned league with Certified Referees, we abide by the FIFA/AFIB Laws of the Game as well need to follow all rules and regulations as set out by the MSA and CSA. 

 

Team Reps, what we need from you

  1. Read the Rules and Regulations, especially those around Player Eligibility
  2. Submitting the Microsoft Office form is the reservation to the WWSL (WWSL will review the reservation and provide you with confirmation)
  3. Submit your Roster to us in a timely fashion - this will help us with team placement

 

Registration:

  1. You will get an email to Register with the MSA, this is your affiliation registration with the MSA and the MSA Fee paid to them - this registers you with the WWSL
  2. Once your team is Registered WWSL will activate your team, you will get an access code sent to you, send this to your players to register!
  3. Players MUST be registered in RAMP before the first game
  4. Print your ID Cards (https://cloud.rampinteractive.com/winnipegwomenssoccerleague/files/Team%20ID%20cards.pdf
    1. whenever a new player registers you need to print a new sheet
    2. Downloading onto your phone should only be used in exceptional circumstances (cards with another teammate, new registrations

 

First Game

  1. A set of numbered jerseys are required. (Two sets are ideal, but a set of pinnies can work too) 
  2. A pumped ball! (new teams will receive a ball from the WWSL)
  3. Player ID cards (see #4 above)
  4. Arrive Early!

Outdoor:

Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex

  • Two full artificial turf pitches
  • Changerooms located inside the clubhouse

Shaughnessy Soccer Complex

  • One full artificial turf pitch
  • No changerooms
  • Portapotty bathrooms

Little Mountain Sportsplex

  • Three grass pitches
  • Clubhouse access with washrooms
  • Portapotty bathrooms near field

 

Indoor:

WSF South (UM Campus)

  • Change rooms are located downstairs 
  • 4 quarter pitches - follow signage to locate your field (Field 1 is right at the bottom of the stairs)

WSF North (Garden City)

  • Change rooms along the side of the pitch
  • 4 quarter pitches - follow signage to locate your field (Field 4 is when you walk into the soccer pitch area)
